Fans of actor and singer Ben Platt have been waiting for this moment since the release of his debut album, Sing To Me Instead, which was followed by an international tour. Released in 2019, Sing To Me Instead shows the talent and range Platt has with his unique voice as well as his skill as a songwriter. A filmed version of one of his concerts is coming to Netflix on May 20, 2020! The concert recorded live at Radio City Music Hall will show Platt’s broad repertoire from original songs to some Broadway classics.

Ben Platt has been a household name for a while, starring in movies like Pitch Perfect. His big break came from playing Evan Hansen in the Broadway hit Dear Evan Hansen in 2015. Since then, he has gone on to star in The Politician, a dramatic comedy with musical elements streaming on Netflix, and recording his first album.

After a Broadway success and breaking through TV and film, this concert undoubtedly is another significant milestone for Platt. The concert special starts streaming on May 20, 2020.

Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
