Creation Entertainment previously announced that they would be introducing the first Creation of the Dead: A Salute to The Walking Dead convention this year with the first date scheduled for June 6-7 at The Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. However, with the coronavirus pandemic, Creation has rescheduled the event. The new date is for October 2-4, 2020, with a new location at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The Walking Dead is one of the most popular horror shows on TV based off of The Walking Dead comic series by Robert Kirkman. Now going into its 11th season, the post-apocalyptic franchise has expanded itself to add two other shows. That includes Fear The Walking Dead that is going into its sixth season and the newest installment, The Walking Dead: World Beyond coming later this year.

The three-day convention includes several The Walking Dead fan favorites including Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes), Cassady McClincy (Lydia), and Katelyn Nacon (Enid), with more announcements on the way! Admission, photo ops, autographs, and a la carte tickets will be available for purchase soon, so stay tuned for updates.
