Adding to the list of shows and conventions postponing their events due to COVID-19, Armageddon Expo announced they are postponing their Wellington event, originally scheduled for April 10-12 2020. The new dates are August 1-2, 2020. All tickets will be refunded through Ticketek, who handles the ticket sales for these events.

The show will still be held at Sky Stadium, but guest announcements for the show will come closer to the event to hopefully avoid any cancellations. Tickets for the new date are expected to go on sale in early May.

The next conventions for Armageddon Expo are still set to proceed as planned, including Christchurch from May 30-June 1, Tauranga from June 6-7, and the 25th anniversary celebration in Auckland from October 23-26. Tickets, guests, and event updates can be found on the Armageddon Expo website.

Sarah joined Nerds and Beyond in 2019 to write about her many nerdy passions. With a Masters degree in Marine Biology, many question her decision to move to the desert (aka Las Vegas), but she is normally too preoccupied with teaching them about sea turtles to notice their concern. She refuses to fit in a box and lives her life on her own terms, sometimes in spite of societal norms. She loves to travel any chance she gets, which usually involves seeing her favorite band, Louden Swain. When at home, she enjoys binge-watching tv shows on her "to watch" list, working on craft projects, trying new recipes, and planning more travel.
