Adding yet another high profile film to the list of delayed releases due to coronavirus, The Lovebirds will be delayed indefinitely. The comedy starring Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae was set to be released April 3. Amid the uncertainty, Paramount has opted not to reschedule the film at this time.

The Lovebirds stars Kumail Nanjiani, Issa Rae, Paul Sparks, Anna Camp and Kyle Bornheimer. The official summary states that

A couple (Issa Rae & Kumail Nanjiani) experience a defining moment in their relationship when they are unintentionally embroiled in a murder mystery. As their journey to clear their names takes them from one extreme – and hilarious – circumstance to the next, they must figure out how they, and their relationship, can survive the night.

Paramount also pulled A Quiet Place Part 2 earlier today. The other major films to cancel their release as of now include Fast 9 and No Time To Die.
