Keegan Allen is trading in a police badge for cowboy boots. The Pretty Little Liars alum is officially joining Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki and The 100‘s Lindsey Morgan in the reboot for Walker, Texas Ranger on The CW.

According to Variety, Allen will play Cordell Walker’s (Padalecki) gay and conservative younger brother, Liam. He is described as smart and slightly smug but with a strong moral compass who has been recently promoted to assistant DA. Liam and Walker are close, so we’ll most likely be getting lots of scenes with the two of them.

Allen will also be joining former PLL co-star and current Roswell, New Mexico star Tyler Blackburn on The CW. The reboot marks one of Allen’s first big roles post-Pretty Little Liars, which ended its seven-season run in 2017. The Walker, Texas Ranger reboot was recently picked up to series, but it’s not confirmed yet when production on the series will start.
