‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ Reboot with Jared Padalecki Ordered to Series

Some big news coming from The CW today. According to Entertainment Weekly, the reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger starring Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki has been given a direct to series order.

The series has not yet even filmed a pilot episode, but with a great premise led by fan favorite actor Padalecki, it’s sure to be a hit and The CW knows it. EW states that Padalecki will star as Cordell Walker, who was portrayed in the original by Chuck Norris. The series is written and executive produced by Anna Fricke, and Padalecki will be producing it alongside Dan Lin and Lindsay Liberatore.

We can’t wait to see the series!
