There is a shadow in the force!

The Jedi Master himself, Mark Hamill, will be guest starring on season two of the FX horror-comedy What We Do in the Shadows.

The FX series based off of the 2014 film of the same name, is a mockumentary taking a hilarious and bizarre look into the mundane lives of three vampires, who’ve lived together for over 100 years, now relocated on Staten Island.

Season one of What We Do in the Shadows contained ten episodes, and season two is set to air sometime this year.

Back in December, Hamill had teased via Twitter that he had just finished filming a project he was excited about but didn’t give out any details as to what this project was.

After a month of keeping things under wraps, Hamill and show creator Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords, What We Do in the Shadows (2014)) finally broke their silence.

According to VARIETY, Clement made the announcement at the show’s Television Critics Association press day panel. However, it is still uncertain who the Star Wars star will play or what episode he will appear in.

Let us know in the comments below if you’re excited for season two.
