Many talented women from film and television will be honored this year at the NY Women in Film and TV Muse Awards on December 10 in New York.

This list includes Shosannah Stern for her work on This Close as the co-maker and star. You may recognize Shosannah from television’s Supernatural where she portrays Eileen Leahy, a hunter and friend of the Winchester brothers. Shosannah is being honored with the Loreen Arbus Changemaker Award.

Multiple Grammy-winning singer Gloria Estefan and Emmy-winning actress Ann Dowd (Handmaid’s Tale) are also being honored at the event with Muse awards.

This will be the first year the awards will be broadcast on television. If you live in the New York area, check out the awards on CUNY TV on December 10!
