Kelly Clarkson Announces Vegas Residency

Kelly Clarkson is heading to Vegas!

The 37-year-old The Voice coach and talk show host announced the news of her new residency on Friday during her talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show.

She started the show singing a melody of her greatest hits which included: “Miss Independent”, “Walk Away”, and “Since You’ve Been Gone” just to name a few. She pulled out all the stops during this performance and even included some Vegas show girls at the end. After the performance, Clarkson announced the major news to her audience.

“I have a major announcement to make today: I’ve scored my very own residency in Las Vegas!” Clarkson continued. “… Not only am I getting to perform, I’m gonna get to play all the Wheel of Fortune slots, which is really my reason for going there … The gambling, the shows, the all-you-can-eat buffet and crab legs, I love all of it.” After all was said and done she even gifted her audience tickets to one of the upcoming shows.

Clarkson will headline 16 performances at the Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Casino Resort. Other artists who have performed there include: Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani and Shania Twain. The performances will start in April of 2020 and run through September 2020.

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Monday, November 4. While tickets will be available to the public on Friday, November 8.
