Rhode Island Comic Con is just days away, are you ready?! Prepare yourself for a weekend full of fun with our pre-convention overview!

The biggest show in the smallest state is being held at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center located at 1 Sabin Street, Providence, RI 02903. The hours of the show are set for Friday 3 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m., – 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

RICC has no shortage of impressive guests this year and they’ve done a fantastic job of bringing in guests that cover a wide variety of interests — there’s someone for everyone to see! Chevy Chase, Elijah Wood, Karl Urban, Dave Bautista, John Barrowman, Christina Ricci, Kate Mulgrew, Evanna Lynch, Bonnie Wright, and James and Oliver Phelps are only the tip of the iceberg of celebrity guests attending RICC 2019! You can see the entire line-up of celebrities here. Fandoms with a heavy presence in terms of guests include Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, Harry Potter, and Star Trek, so make sure not to miss the incredible group panels that are planned!

Speaking of panels, make sure to plan out your weekend ahead of time with the official schedule! The full schedule of panels and events can be found here, and you can coordinate your planning even further with these floor maps to ensure you’re in the right place at the right time! It’s important to note that due to the limited seating available, the Stranger Things panel requires a ticket to attend. This free ticket can be picked up Saturday, November 2, at the RI Convention Center info booth near the show floor entrance, starting at 9 a.m. for VIPs and 10 a.m. for general admission. Limited to one ticket per person, while supplies last.

You can also view the photo op schedule separately here, and for autographs, check with the celebrities’ individual tables on-site. The only celebrity with a set signing schedule is Chevy Chase, so for his autograph, please follow the group number on your ticket.

Autographs are a keepsake, so get them graded before leaving the con with an official JSA authentication. Also in attendance will be CBCS and CGC comics for comic book grading!

Online autograph sales have been taken down, but autographs will be available to purchase (cash only) at each guests’ booth. However, photo op tickets are still on sale, and will remain on sale both on the website and at the convention throughout the weekend. Along with all of the great solo options, there are also a multitude of group photo ops available as well! Caddyshack stars Chevy Chase, Michael O’Keefe, and Cindy Morgan, Gotham‘s Sean Pertwee, David Mazouz and Donal Logue, Doctor Who companions Alex Kingston, Catherine Tate, and John Barrowman, Harry Potter sensations Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, and James and Oliver Phelps, and The Office regulars Brian Baumgartner, Catherine Tate, and Leslie David Baker are just a few of the awesome team-ups available.

As if the amazing celebrity lineup wasn’t enough, RICC also has a wide offering of events to attend during the weekend. There are the after parties on both Friday and Saturday, A Nightmare on Elm Street showing on Halloween night (a night before the convention officially begins, what a pre-game!), geek speed dating, and Saturday Night at Dave & Busters to play Mario Kart with Mario himself, Charles Martinet!

Ink Fusion Tattoo will also be in attendance with 12 artists ready to tattoo throughout the weekend. Want a chance to win a tattoo drawn by the man of your dreams (or should we say nightmares?) You’re in luck. Robert Englund is offering a one-of-a-kind sketch of one of his iconic characters to be raffled off and tattooed! The tattoo and a photo of you with Robert and his handiwork are included in the prize. Raffle tickets will be available Friday at the Ink Fusion Tattoo booth.

Bringing along your nerd protégé? There’s a place for them, too! Face painting, balloon creations, sand art, henna, and more will be available at Kids Con! Expect a visit from some cosplayers as well!

Don’t forget artist alley! Meet your favorite comic book artists, writers, and creators at RICC. They’ll be at their tables throughout the weekend, so don’t miss ’em!

Make sure to check out the online show store here, and order some incredible convention-exclusive items to be picked up on-site over the weekend! Some items are only available in limited quantities, so act fast.

Finally, before you head out for the weekend, make sure to download RICC’s official mobile app. It has the full guest list, the vendor list and their locations, maps, and schedules, and it also gives users the option to purchase tickets and photo ops! The app is available for Android and Apple phones.

You can follow Rhode Island Comic Con on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates, and check out the convention’s FAQ page as well.

If you’re attending Rhode Island Comic Con, we’ll see you there! If not, stay tuned for our full weekend coverage here.
