Irish Band The Script Announce New Album and Tour Dates
Over two years have passed since world-renowned, Irish rock band The Script last released an original album. But don’t worry, a new album is finally on the way. The Script have announced that their new album Sunsets & Full Moons will get released on November 8, 2019. It will be The Script’s sixth studio album. The first album, self-titled The Script, having been released in 2008 and the most recent Freedom Child released in September 2017.
Best known for their hits “Breakeven,” “Hall of Fame,” and “Superheroes” The Scripts are made up of lead vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, leading guitar player Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power. The band formed in 2007 and has had global success throughout their more than a decade together.
Along with the long-awaited announcement of a new album, The Script have announced they are headed back on tour following the release of the album. The tour will start February 20, 2020, in Liverpool, England and visit many cities across the UK and Ireland. You can pre-order the album now by visiting The Script’s official site.
For those of you living in the UK or Ireland and are interested in tour tickets, if you pre-order the album before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, you’ll have access to ticket pre-sale on Wednesday, October 16. The Script announced the pre-sale on their Twitter October 11.
