“So what’s life like in the apocalypse? It’s never what you’d expect.”
With just a few weeks until season one of Daybreak‘s premiere on October 24, Netflix has released a new trailer!
Based on Brian Ralph’s comic book series of the same name, this post-apocalyptic comedy-drama is going to be an exciting new series. Netflix describes the show as a “genre-smashing, fourth-wall-breaking action-comedy” with the motif of “High school isn’t the end of the world … until it is.”
According to the cast — which features Matthew Broderick, Colin Ford, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Jeanté Godlock, Cody Kearsley, and Gregory Kasyan — and executive producers Aron Eli Coleite, Brad Peyton, and Jeff Fierson, the series is like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off meets Mad Max meets Zombieland.
Nerds and Beyond got the chance to interview the cast and executive producers listed above at New York Comic Con 2019. We’ll be posting the interviews shortly, so stay tuned!
