ATX TV Festival’s “Best of Shows” 2019 Award Nominations Now Open

As award season approaches, Austin Television Festival has decided to host their very own fan nominated and fan voted awards this year! The very first “Best In Shows” Awards launched today with two categories now open for nominations on Twitter.

The 10 categories range from funny to the semi-serious, but the awards aim to recognize all the best TV moments viewers have enjoyed (so far) in 2019.

Now that we know the amazing categories, lets get down to the nominating and voting! Nominations will take place on the ATX TV Festival Twitter page ONLY. From September 10-14 two categories will be opened each day for 24 hours via tweet. Once they are open, simply reply to the category tweet with your nomination(s) using #BestInShows. Both “The Wig is Right” Award and “The I Bet That Hurt” Award categories launched today, Sept 10 with the below tweets.

After the 24-hour period, four nominees from each category will be chosen. The Ballots for each category will be revealed September 16 with voting taking place via Twitter September 17-19. After votes are counted, Austin Television Festival will name the first ever “Best in Shows” winners on September 20.

Whether your favorite show moments come from an old favorite like Game of Thrones or a new obsession like Roswell, New Mexico make sure to follow ATX TV Festival and nominate your favorite scenes now!
