It was announced today at D23 Expo that Disney Parks is planning to launch a new app exclusive to guests who visit Disney World, called “Disney Genie”. This app aims to help you plan you Disney day to absolutely optimize your experience.

You can choose from themed days, like a Royal Princess themed day (which will take you through Magic Kingdom) to a Foodie day (which will take you across Epcot, among others). You can also just use the app to help optimize your own plans. Once you load in your must-haves, the app will calculate based on thousands of variables (like wait times, most popular times, ect) to tell you when to visit what ride or attraction. It will even make reservations for you!

I’m not going to lie, this app looks like a great way to maximize your Disney day fun and I’m excited to get a chance to use it. D23 members will be among the first to test this out, with a chance to win access coming soon to their newsletter and exclusive site. For the rest of us, the app is set to debut late 2020 for visitors of the Walt Disney World theme parks.
