Matt Cohen’s ‘Mama Bear’ Wins Best Action Film from Hollyshorts Film Festival

Matt Cohen’s Mama Bear screened at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on August 13 as part of the Hollyshorts Film Festival, under their “Action” category. Now, Matt has announced that Mama Bear won Best Action Film from the Hollyshorts Film Festival!

Mama Bear previously screened at festivals such as the Olympus Film Festival, Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, California International Film Festival and Woods Hole Film Festival.

The short has won several awards aside from the newest from Hollyshorts, including Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Actress and Best Producer from the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards, as well as the Zeus Award from the Olympus Film Festival.
