Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in the new Black Widow movie from Marvel Studios.

Johansson was introduced to the Marvel universe as Natasha Romanoff in 2010’s Iron Man 2. Black Widow will be her ninth time playing the character, and her first solo MCU movie.

The cast also includes David Harbour (Stranger Things), Florence Pugh (The Commuter), O-T Fagbenle (The Hand-Maid’s Tale) , and Rachel Weisz (The Mummy).  Cate Shortland is the director, and this will be her first time directing a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Black Widow is currently set to release to theaters May 1, 2020.
