‘The Boys’ Picked Up Early For a Second Season

Eric Kripke, writer, executive producer and showrunner for Amazon’s The Boys, announced via Twitter today that the series has been picked up early for a second season!

According to Variety, Aya Cash is also said to be joining the cast for season two.

The highly anticipated series will premiere on July 26 on Amazon Prime.

The Boys is based on a comic of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson and focuses on a group of power-crazed, corrupt superheroes and the titular group of heroic humans set on exposing their corruption. Check out our article on The Boys experience at SDCC!
