HBO has renewed the teen-drama Euphoria for a second season!

The eight-episode first season follows Rue (Zendaya), a 17-year-old drug addict fresh out of rehab who soon falls back on old habits. When Rue returns to high school, we see how the other students deal with issues surrounding drugs, sex, and violence.

In a press statement, Executive VP of HBO Programming Francesca Orsi shared her excitement about the renewal:

‘Euphoria’ creator Sam Levinson has built an incredible world with an extraordinary cast led by the supremely talented Zendaya. We are so grateful that he chose HBO as the home for this ground-breaking series. We look forward to following these complex characters as their journeys continue through the challenging world they inhabit.

The series also features Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Algee Smith, Storm Reid, Nika King, Barbie Ferreira, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, and more.

You can watch Euphoria Sundays on HBO.
