The 1989 baseball classic Field of Dreams will be returning to theaters for two days only in celebration of its 30th anniversary, just in time for fathers day.

Field of Dreams tells the story of An Iowa corn farmer named Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner), who hears voices and interprets them as a command to build a baseball diamond in his fields; he does, and the 1919 Chicago White Sox come.
The limited time event is courtesy of Fathom Events and the TCM Big Screen Classics series. The film will screen Sunday June 16, 2019- Father’s Day, and Tuesday June 18, 2019. The film with be shown in more than 600 theaters nationwide.
The films re-release also marks the 100th anniversary of the 1919 Black Sox Baseball Scandal which figures into the films plot. You can purchase tickets and find participating theaters near you here.
