CBS Reveals Name for Upcoming ‘Star Trek’ Series

Today in New York City, CBS revealed that their new Star Trek series will be named Star Trek: Picard. The new series will be focused on Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis.

A first picture of Jean-Luc Picard was also revealed at the Upfronts. It shows Picard in civilian clothes.

Star Trek : Picard will be airing later this year on CBS All Access and will be available on Amazon Prime internationally. You can read more about distribution here.
