As already announced in our interview with Paul Carella in February, one of his new projects as an actor will be airing next week. The series The Victim will air on Monday, April 8, on BBC One in the U.K. and will be available on iPlayer after its first airdate.

It isn’t clear whether the show will get an international or Netflix release date, but chances are good.

The series is set in Scotland and will be told from the perspective of Anna Dean (played by Kelly Macdonald), whose son was murdered 15 years prior to the events of the series. She is accused of not only revealing the killer’s identity, but also of conspiring to have him murdered as revenge. (Alleged) said killer is Craig Myers (played by James Harkness).

The Victim will focus on the trial before the Scottish High Court and will show Anna’s and Craig’s sides of the story, respectively.

If you have the possibility to watch, make sure to check the series out starting April 8. You can see the trailer for the series below:

Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
