For those that are unfamiliar with the show, Lucifer is based on a character developed by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg. The show follows the fallen angel, played by Tom Ellis, who is tired of Hell so he retires to earth to better understand humanity. After a murder takes place outside his hotel, “Lucifer” is faced with a reaction he didn’t anticipate that feels very similar to compassion. Matters complicate when he meets homicide detective “Chloe”, played by Lauren German. “Chloe” is nothing like the humanity he’s known and causes him to wonder if maybe there is hope for his soul.
Catch up on the first three seasons on Netflix while you wait for season four. You won’t be disappointed!
