‘American Gods’ to Return in March
Vulture has reported that season 2 of the Starz hit American Gods will return in March.
The show is an adaptation of the novel by Neil Gaiman and follows the story of Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) and his mysterious companion Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) as they meet the incarnations of various gods and goddesses and other mythical beings.
Despite setbacks, the show will be returning to Starz on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 8 p.m. Vulture reports. It will also be available to stream on the Starz app.
A release from Starz gives more information on what to expect from season 2.
A council at the House on the Rock explodes into chaos, sending deities both Old and New on quests across America that will converge on Cairo, Illinois: forcing Shadow to carve out a place as a believer in this strange new world of living gods — a dark world where change demands commitment, and faith requires terrible sacrifice.
A new poster for the upcoming season was also released.
