‘Outlander’ Cast at PaleyFest
The cast of the STARZ show, Outlander, participated in a panel at PaleyFest while in town for New York Comic Con. The panel was live-streamed on the official Outlander facebook page for the fans that were unable to attend. Outlander‘s stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, along with Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin started the panel by playing a drinking game with some whiskey provided by the Paley Center to determine ‘cast superlatives’. To summarize the game, Richard both lost and won.
The cast was also joined by executive producer Maril Davis and showrunner Ronald D. Moore. They offered insights on the difficulties in production with the story moving to America while shooting remained in Scotland. Everyone on stage teased the amazing season to come and endeavored to keep the panel spoiler free for those watching that have not read the books.
Fans in the audience were treated to two clips from the new season. The first clip is from the season premiere episode and featured both Claire and Jamie. Readers of the books will recognize the second clip as the scene from Drums of Autumn where Brianna and Roger play a road trip game.
The final question of the panel was one that everyone has been wanting to know: “Tell us about working with Rollo?” Those on stage happily shared stories of Duey the dog to the joy of everyone watching.
We are so excited for the season 4 premiere of Outlander which airs less than a month from now on November 4.
