‘Aquaman’ Trailer Release Date Announced & Official Poster Revealed!

Aquaman and Jason Momoa fans, it’s almost here! The Twitter page for the newest film addition to the DC Extended Universe, Aquaman, has announced that the movie’s first trailer will be released to the public this Saturday, July 21.

Fans also received a first look at the film’s official poster, featured down below!

Director James Wan teased a still from the trailer in anticipation of its reveal happening during the San Diego Comic Con this weekend.

Fans of the DC Universe witnessed Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry/Aquaman for the first time during a cameo appearance in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), and truly began to know him as a character when he appeared in DC’s Justice League (2017). While both these films drew a less than enthusiastic response, there is a strong hope that Momoa’s solo film will bring justice to his character and Aquaman’s story.

This hope prevailed following the overwhelmingly positive response to Wan’s rough ‘work-in-progress’ trailer, which was shown exclusively to attendees of this year’s Las Vegas Cinema Con in April.

Be sure to keep a lookout for the first Aquaman trailer this Saturday, July 21!

Aquaman will be released in theaters on December 21.
