James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti, who you might know from the hit show One Tree Hill, launched an Indiegogo for their pilot titled “Everyone is Doing Great”. The duo already shot and made the pilot, but are using the crowdfunding platform to help raise money to complete their first season – which would be six episodes long.

“Everyone is Doing Great” is an episodic comedy project we’ve lived and breathed for the last year of our lives. It’s a story formed partly from circumstances we’re familiar with, but primarily a fiction following friends dealing with life’s unexpected challenges.

If you think it’s worth your contribution, small or large, you’ll be satisfying the budget for 5 more 30-40 minute episodes of “Everyone is Doing Great.” That’ll make our first season 6 total episodes. The first season scripts are all written and we’re ready to pounce into production as soon as we have the funds. Over the next 45 days, you have the ability to bring this pilot several steps closer to becoming a full season of comedy television.

Lafferty and Colletti have teamed up with The Nelms Brothers and Michelle Lang as executive producers, as well as Johnny Derango, who serves as executive producer and director of photography.

If you contribute to the campaign, you have an opportunity to receive some great perks. Perks include a EDG beer coozie, EDG postcard, EDG shot glass, a download of the pilot with commentary, EDG t-shirt, signed postcard, personalized and signed headshots, personalized voice greeting, personalized video, set visit, and so much more.

The pilot is current screening at film and television festivals and you can follow their twitter for more updates!
