‘Grease’ is Still the Word on HBO Max with ‘Grease: Rydell High’

Grease is still the word on everyone’s pink ladies jacket even after the musical’s first initial release in 1978. Now, several decades later, it’s back as a newly reinvented television series aimed to air on HBO Max.

The series, Grease: Rydell High will see a flashback to spiffy hair and long dresses with the backdrop of the 1950s, the same period of the classic film. Not only will there be a bunch of new faces to create an exciting dynamic that will bring a unique twist. But also familiar characters will be brought back into the fold.

As for who will take on the iconic character Sandra Dee? That is yet to be known as the cast is currently unlisted.
