Today, Fox released the official trailer for Dark Phoenix, the next installment in the X-Men saga.
The trailer shows the return of James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Hank McCoy), Evan Peters (Peter Maximoff), Tye Sheridan (Scott Summers), Alexandra Shipp (Ororo Munroe) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Kurt Wagner). Jessica Chastain’s mysterious character is also featured.
The synopsis for Dark Phoenix on IMDb is:
Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.
