Variety’s hit series Actors on Actors is back for yet another season as we look toward this year’s Emmy Awards, here to bring forth exciting, intriguing, and entertaining one-on-one conversations between some of this season’s top award contenders.
Today’s episode features Halston‘s Ewan McGregor and The Mandalorian‘s Pedro Pascal. Though McGregor is on board as a result of his starring role in Netflix’s biographical series about American fashion designer Halston, it was only natural that he and Pascal’s conversation take a turn toward a galaxy far, far away.
Pascal is a newer entrant to the Star Wars universe, but he very quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his portrayal of the skilled and mysterious bounty hunter Din Djarin in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. McGregor, meanwhile, is a seasoned vet of the prequel films, known for his role as a younger version of the legendary Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. He’ll be making his long-awaited return to the Star Wars universe soon enough with Disney+’s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
