Entertainment Weekly Releases First Look at ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Inspired ‘Legacies’ Musical Episode

Entertainment Weekly has revealed exclusive first look photos of the upcoming The Vampire Diaries inspired musical episode of Legacies! The photos show the iconic meeting of Elena and Stefan (who are played by Josie and Jed), a sneak peek at Caroline (played by Lizzie), and Kaleb as Damon.

The episode, “Salvatore: The Musical!”, will act as a love letter to those who have come before Legacies — TVD and The Originals. Airing as episode 19, it will premiere February 4. After the COVID-19 pandemic halted the original release plans for the show, the remaining season 2 episodes will be airing as an extension of season 3. This is the second musical episode for the series after season 1’s “We’re Gonna Need a Spotlight.”

The CW has also released a description for the episode which is as follows:

THE SALVATORE SCHOOL PRESENTS “SALVATORE: THE MUSICAL” — The students prepare to put on a musical about the founding of the Salvatore School at the behest of their mysterious new guidance counselor.Meanwhile, as Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) throws himself into writing the musical and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), Josie (Kaylee Bryant), Kaleb (Chris Lee) and Jed (Ben Levin) dive into their roles, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) distances herself from the musical.
