Join Genevieve Padalecki, moderator Maya Smith, and writer Bryan Washington as they discuss the latest book club selection Lot.
Lot is a collection of stories written by Bryan Washington about a young man living in a Houston community trying to find his place within his family and the world that surrounds him. The stories explore his life and the life of other families and characters living in a post Hurricane Harvey neighborhood. The stories reveal secrets hidden behind the walls of the apartment complex he lives in and the characters he meets along the way. Lot explores the ways in which love can reveal its self in the most unpredictable ways. Washington uses humor, insight, and love to bring the characters alive and looks deep within the an individuals search for home.
Lot is the second selection of Genevieve’s book club featured on her blog Now and Gen. You can join Genevieve in her Book Club through GoodReads.
