Last year when Manifest debuted, it did extremely well. People were comparing it to Lost, as they loved the concept of a plane vanishing then coming back five years later, and wondering how it happened and what it meant to those involved. Throughout the season, Michaela, Ben and more were finding out how it’s all connected and at New York Comic Con, fans got a glimpse of what’s to come in season two.

In the exclusive promo shown at NYCC, it starts out with what happened in season one — the night Flight 828 vanished then reappeared, finding the other passengers, the visions, and more. Then comes a preview of what’s to come in the upcoming season: Michaela is having a vision of her, Ben, and Cal on Flight 828, Ben is still trying to figure out a way to save the passengers despite now having a “death date,” Saanvi says she might have a way to find out what exactly happened with Flight 828, and Ben seemingly gets taken after confronting an unknown person.

Season one had its finale back in February and although there is no exact premiere date for season two, it was revealed during their panel at NYCC that it will be back sometime in January. From the looks of the promo, it will be well worth the wait. Catch season two of Manifest when it premieres January 2020 on NBC.
