Arrow, which premiered in 2012, is entering its eighth and final season. Amell’s character Oliver Queen/Arrow will have a new suit for the last ten episodes. In the final season, we will see the hero working for the Monitor trying to save the multiverse from a devastating event. To do that, Oliver will have to leave the comfort of Star City.

Arrow returns Tuesday, October 15 on The CW.

In the Entertainment Weekly article, Amell mentions ā€œI’m very emotional and melancholy, but it’s time,ā€ regarding the ending of the show. During the magazine photoshoot, Amell actually found out how it will end.

ā€œI cried as [Marc Guggenheim] was telling me. There are a lot of hurdles to get over to make that final scene.ā€
