Fans of Stephen King’s horror masterpiece IT were treated today to the official teaser trailer for the upcoming second part of the film adaptation, IT: Chapter Two. Andy Muschietti returns to direct the movie, which will be released later this year on September 6th.

In King’s novel, the seven main characters that make up the Losers Club — Bill, Beverly, Ben, Richie, Mike, Stanley, and Eddie — first fight off Pennywise the Clown in the late 1950s. They return to their hometown of Derry, Maine 27 years later to once again face off against the supernatural entity.

However, the movies take place in different eras: IT (2017) occurs in the 1980s, and the upcoming finale will take place 27 years later, very close to present time. But all the horrors and nightmares from the novel are intact.

The actors who played the Losers Club members as kids will return in this movie, but only via flashbacks. Playing their adult counterparts are James McAvoy (Bill Denbrough), Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), Bill Hader (Richie Tozier), James Ransone (Eddie Kaspbrak), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike Hanlon), Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), and Andy Bean (Stanley Uris).

And Bill Skarsgård will return as Pennywise.

The teaser trailer depicts a scene right out of King’s story: an adult Beverly Marsh has returned to her childhood home and is greeted by its current owner. She is invited in to look around and reminisce. But is the homeowner really who she says she is?

Check out the trailer below for IT: Chapter Two, coming to theaters September 6.
