Disney‘s newest animated feature film, Moana, had a panel yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con. Oh My Disney posted live updates of the panel, where we got to learn some new information.
Here’s what we learned:
Music
The music is important to this film – they assembled a great musical team consisting of Opetaia Foa’i, Mark Mancina and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Two Weeks Left
They announced that there was only two and a half weeks of animation left and then the film would be finished!
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Sings
We learned that he will sing in the film!
Moana is an Adventure Movie
“I would say this is an adventure movie. Moana is going on a hero’s journey. She’s very much a hero,” said Ron Clements.
