New Disney Short “Inner Workings” to Debut on June 17 in France and Play in Front of “Moana”

Disney announced that a brand new short, Inner Workings, will debut at the Annecy International Animation Festival in France on June 17. The film will also be shown in front of Moana, which will be released in theaters on November 23.

Directed by Leo Matsuda (a story artist on Big Hero 6 and Wreck-It Ralph) and produced by Sean Lurie, the short “is the story of the internal struggle between a man’s Brain—a pragmatic protector who calculates his every move, and his Heart—a free-spirited adventurer who wants to let loose.”
