The newest addition to the Disney Cruise fleet, the Disney Wish, has been unveiled, and it features new dining experiences, Marvel superheroes, unique rooms, and more!
In a 30-minute-long video with Captain Minnie, Captain Mickey, the fairy godmother, and more, we were able to take a look at the ship and what all it has to offer. Here are some of the features the Disney Wish will include to add magic to your cruise vacation.
The Aqua Mouse
On the upper deck of the Disney Wish is a first of its kind “at-sea attraction” called The Aqua Mouse.
The water ride will take riders into the animated world of Mickey Mouse shorts, with an original story called “Scuba Scramble.” The 760-foot ride takes passengers over and around the Upper Deck of the ship.
The Oceaneer Club

Children ages 3-12 will be able to enjoy the Oceaneer Club that includes many unique experiences like The Marvel Superheroes Academy — where kids can train with their favorite superheroes and chose their own hero suit; The Fairy Tale Hall — which offers the Rapunzel art studio, Belle’s Library, Anna and Elsa’s Summerhus; and the Imagineering Interactive Lab.
And this is cool: kid’s will be able to enter the Oceaneer Club through a secret entrance. It may look like an ordinary porthole in the grand hall, but it’s really a slide that takes kids straight to the fun!
The Walt Disney Theater
It isn’t a Disney cruise without entertainment, so the Disney Wish will have several shows for attendees in the Walt Disney Theater.
The theater is inspired by a magical forest and will feature three musical performances. The only show that has been revealed so far is Disney’s Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular.
There are also three new entertainment concepts: The Grand Hall Stage, Luna, and Hero Zone. More details about those will be released at a later date.
New, Unique Staterooms

The storybook-inspired staterooms have a new look on the Disney Wish. Custom artwork is showcased in each of the staterooms. 900 of 1,254 staterooms will be connected adjoining, making this ship the most family-friendly of the Disney fleet. Most also offer ocean views.
And for the first time, two-story suites with spiral staircases and custom stained-glass art will be available.

Sailing is expected to begin in summer 2022 out of Port Canaveral on Florida’s East coast, and booking will begin on May 27, 2021.
