Life Can Be Tricky in Official Trailer for ‘Special’ Season 2

The Netflix original series Special is returning for its second and final season next month, and Netflix has released the official trailer!

The trailer shows Ryan, his mother Karen, and Kim facing new obstacles. Ryan continues to learn about how others view his cerebral palsy and navigates a new relationship. Kim faces her identity as an Indian-American in a more head-on way, and Karen gets back in the dating game.

Special is a semi-autobiographical series that follows Ryan, a gay man with mild cerebral palsy who yearns to move out from living with his mother and begin living a more independent life. It stars Ryan O’Connell, Punam Patel, Jessica Hecht, Patrick Fabian, Marla Mindelle, and Augustus Prew.

Special season 2 begins streaming on Netflix on May 20. Watch the trailer below.
