The MTV Movie & TV Awards are finally back! On Sunday, May 16, the award show will celebrate and recognize some of the best recent installments across film and television. The following evening, the inaugural Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted will take place, an event specifically geared toward reality TV.

Though host and presenter details are still in the works, MTV has released the official list of this year’s nominees! Fan voting is now open here and will run until April 30.

Disney+’s epic live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian has received a total of three nominations.

First up is the Mandalorian himself, Pedro Pascal, who’s received a nod in the Best Hero category. Over the course of two seasons, Din Djarin very quickly found his place as a fan favorite Star Wars character, and rightfully so. (Check out our look back at his best lines from season 2!) Pascal is up against Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and The Winter Soldier), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman 1984), Jack Quaid (The Boys), and Teyonah Parris (WandaVision).

Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon, the person responsible for kidnapping Grogu in season 2, is up for Best Villain. His competition includes Aya Cash (The Boys), Ewan McGregor (Birds of Prey), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), and Nicholas Hoult (The Great).

Finally, one of the most beloved, endearing, and overall fantastic duos that the Star Wars franchise has ever seen has been nominated for Best Duo — Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and his tiny, green, basically-adopted-son Grogu. (Check out our look back at their best season 2 Dadalorian moments.) Other contenders include Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan (The Falcon and The Winter Soldier), Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo (Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar), Lily Collins and Ashley Park (Emily in Paris), and Sacha Baron Cohen and Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm).

The Mandalorian follows the travels of a bounty hunter named Din Djarin. Over the course of two seasons, the show has ushered in an array of incredible new characters — such as Grogu, casually referred to as Baby Yoda by fans — and some excitingly familiar faces from the Star Wars universe.

Not much information is known on the upcoming third season yet, but stay tuned and follow along with all of our coverage on The Mandalorian in the meantime!
