Trailer for ‘The Mosquito Coast’ Series With Justin Theroux and Melissa George Released

Paul Theroux’s best-selling book The Mosquito Coast, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is getting the adaption treatment once again! Previously adapted into the 1986 film which starred Harrison Ford, River Phoenix, and Helen Mirren, it is now getting the small-screen treatment at Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the highly anticipated series that follows the journey of inventor and radical idealist Allie (Justin Theroux) who moves his family to Mexico as they find themselves on the run from the U.S. government. The Mosquito Coast consists of seven episodes. Melissa George, Logan Polish, and Gabriel Bateman also star.

The television series is created and executive produced by Neil Cross. Rupert Wyatt directs the first two episodes and serves as executive producer alongside author Paul Theroux, star Justin Theroux and Edward L. McDonnell. Alan Gasmer, Peter Jaysen and Bob Bookman also serve as executive producers for Veritas Entertainment Group.

The first two episodes will premiere globally on Friday, April 30 followed by new episodes every Friday on Apple TV+.
