Lovecraft Country star Wunmi Mosaku has joined the cast of the upcoming drama film Call Jane. Mosaku will co-star alongside Elizabeth Banks, Sigourney Weaver, Rupert Friend, and Kate Mara. There’s currently no word on which character she will play.

Call Jane will follow Joy, a traditional housewife from the 1960s who’s faced with an unexpected pregnancy. When Joy finds an underground abortion movement, she finds a sense of purpose in her life and helping other women take control of theirs.

Phyllis Nagy directs the screenplay by Hayley Schore and Roshan Sethi. Kevin McKeon, Robbie Brenner, and David Wulf will produce. Schore, Sethi, Michelle Campbell Mason, Lee Broda, Erica Kahn, and Judy Bart will executive produce.
