WATCH: Lou Diamond Phillips Talks Directing Season 2, Episode 7 of ‘Prodigal Son’

We know Prodigies are missing Prodigal Son while it’s on hiatus, but look no further! Episode 7, the winter finale, of Prodigal Son, titled “Face Value,” was directed by none other than Lou Diamond Phillips (Gil Arroyo), and it brought new faces, as well as new theories (which you can also check out on our podcast, Call For Backup: A Prodigal Son Podcast, providing you all of your favorite Prodigal Son content).

Phillips had a huge task at hand, with the introduction of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alan Cumming, and the pressure of the winter finale and big reveals (Ainsley didn’t kill a second person?), but it was no match for this skilled and veteran director.

Watch Phillips talk about his experience with his Prodigal Son directing debut and behind-the-scenes clips from episode 7 below.

Prodigal Son returns Tuesday, April 13 at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
