Hootie & the Blowfish has been rocking our world since 1986, and we’re here to announce that Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker, and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld will soon be taking the stage again for our entertainment. On Friday, April 23 at 9 p.m. ET, the band will be featured on Sessions Live for an online presentation of a closing performance from their largely successful Group Therapy Tour in 2019.

Hootie & the Blowfish was founded in 1986 at USC. The band that uniquely blended elements of rock, pop, blues, and soul went on to find great success with their 1994 debut of Cracked Rear View which went on to be certified as Diamond. To this day it remains on the list of top 10 best-selling studio albums of all time. The band recently released album Imperfect Circle back in 2019 in addition to going on tour.

Performances for the livestream will include some of the band’s greatest hits such as “Only Wanna Be With You,” “Hold My Hand,” “Let Her Cry,” and “Time,” among others, from a sold-out homecoming performance in Columbia, South Carolina where the band began; the footage has never been aired before!

Early-bird general admission tickets, which are currently priced at $15, are currently on sale and will increase in price to $20 on April 20 at 9 p.m. ET. VIP ticket packages are also available; this $250 bundle includes access to the live stream, an autographed tour pass, and access to an exclusive virtual Q&A session/afterparty with the band. All tickets are available on the Sessions website.

These tickets are going fast, so make sure to secure your spot in the audience today!
