The highly anticipated show follows Clone Force 99 (also known as The Bad Batch) — a team of clone troopers with genetic mutations tasked with dangerous missions during the Clone Wars. The series takes place after the tragic events of Order 66.

The new trailer introduces a new character that joins the group. You can watch the trailer below:

Dee Bradley Baker will give his voice to the clones. Ming Na Wen will portray a younger version of Fennec Shand, who was first introduced in the first season of The Mandalorian. A new poster for the series was also released today.

The Bad Batch premieres on Disney+ on the unofficial Star Wars holiday, May 4th. According to the trailer’s description on the official Star Wars YouTube Channel, the first episode will be 70 minutes, followed by new episodes every Friday starting on May 7.

Clone Force 99 was first introduced in season 7 of The Clone Wars. You can stream that series now on Disney+.
