FAN EXPO Dallas has announced the first guests for 2021, and it will be a Lord of the Rings hobbit reunion with Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd.
After facing delays and ultimately cancellation in 2020, FAN EXPO is currently slotted to take place September 17 – 19 2021, with this is the first celebrity guest announcement. Wood, Astin, Monaghan, and Boyd famously played the central hobbits in the film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Given that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the films, it would be difficult to find a more appropriate first set of guests.
As of now, the Hobbit reunion is the only thing announced for FAN EXPO Dallas. However, they have announced that special event tickets will be available starting on April 15, so we can expect more exciting announcements in the near future.
