Netflix has revealed its newest project, a 10-episode dramedy from A24 and Lee Sung Jin with Steven Yeun and Ali Wong titled Beef. According to Netflix, the series “follows two people who let a road rage incident burrow into their minds and slowly consume their every thought and action.” This marks Yeun’s return to episodic television in an extended form since his tragic exit from The Walking Dead as the beloved Glenn Rhee in 2016.

Yeun is fresh off of his Oscar-nominated film Minari, which has made waves across the awards circuit. Minari, directed by Lee Isaac Chung, is an inspiring story that follows a family of South Korean immigrants that are trying to make a living in 1980s rural America. The film also scored Yeun a Best Actor nomination, marking him the first Asian American to ever be nominated in the category. Wong can currently be seen in American Houswife as Doris. The series is in the middle of airing its fifth season.
