Netflix is adding seven new cast members to its lineup for the second season of the streaming service’s hit show The Witcher.
Joining the ranks are Adjoa Andoh as Nenneke, Cassie Clare as Phillippa Eilhart, Liz Carr as Fenn, Graham McTavish as Dijkstra, Kevin Doyle as Ba’lian, Simon Callow as Codringher, and Chris Fulton as Rience.
Henry Cavill will be returning as Geralt of Rivia in the second season — alongside Anya Chalotra who plays sorceress Yennefer, Freya Allan as Princess Ciri, and Joey Batey as fan-favourite Jaskier.
The Witcher follows Geralt as he navigates his destiny while taking on jobs in villages killing monsters.
Production on Season 2 started a couple of weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic shut it down in March 2020. It resumed back in August.
The Witcher season two is expect to be released sometime this year. You can stream the first season on Netflix now.
