Sing It From the Rooftops: ‘In The Heights’ Is Coming Sooner Than Expected!

The film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway hit In The Heights is set to arrive this summer, and it looks like it will be coming even sooner than expected.

After dropping a set of beautiful new posters and two new trailers last weekend, Warner Brothers has now announced that In The Heights will be released in theaters and on HBO Max a week earlier than anticipated. The film was originally set to premiere on June 18 alongside Disney/Pixar’s Luca but has been moved up to June 11 where it is currently set to be the only major release.

Starring Miranda’s fellow Hamilton star Anthony Ramos alongside Ariana Greenblatt (Stuck In the Middle) and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) among others, In The Heights explores three days in the lives of the residents of the New York City neighborhood of Washington Heights.
