Natasha Lyonne has been cast to lead a new mystery series from Knives Out creator Rian Johnson for Peacock TV.

The 10-episode series’ full premise has not been revealed, but Johnson has teased it as a “character driven, case of the week mystery goodness.”

Johnson is coming off the massive success of his 2019 mystery comedy Knives Out that swept the box offices, giving life back to original stories and the Agatha Christie mystery genre. A sequel has been greenlit by Lionsgate, but no other details have been announced.

While Russian Doll is keeping Natasha Lyonne busy as both the writer and star of the hit series, the filming of Poker Face will not interfere with the highly anticipated second season of the Netflix show.

Poker Face‘s release date has been set.
