Project for Awesome Announces This Year’s Charity Winners

The Project For Awesome (P4A) has announced this year’s charity recipients as part of its biggest donation total ever! In addition to benefitting its two main charitable partners (Save the Children and Partners in Health), the P4A offered participants the chance to vote on their favorite charities to receive a portion of donations. The winning charities were announced in a tweet to supporters today.

The annual livestream fundraiser, started by John and Hank Green in 2007, brings together the Nerdfighter community to raise money while having fun. This year, the P4A raised over $2.3 million, making it the biggest year ever for the event. For more information on the P4A and view all the submitted charity videos, head over to their official website.
